Braiins Deck × HashWatcher

Install HashWatcher on your Deck

Fleet view, best difficulty celebrations, and remote control from the HashWatcher app — installed from the Deck webpage with a single .nar file.

Download hashwatcher.nar   Open Deck webpage

If you installed the old SSH build

Remove it before installing the new package. Stay on the same Wi‑Fi as the Deck.

  1. Swipe down on the Deck for the settings tray and note its IP address (or use braiins-deck.local if that resolves on your network).
  2. Open http://braiins-deck.local/ (or http://<Deck-IP>/). Under Display Widgets, remove any HashWatcher scenes or widgets.
  3. On your computer, open Terminal (Mac/Linux) or Windows Terminal / PowerShell.
  4. Start SSH as root (password is blank unless you set one — just press Enter if prompted):
    ssh root@braiins-deck.local

If that host does not resolve, use the Deck IP instead:

    ssh root@<Deck-IP>
  5. Once you are logged in, run these two commands one after the other:
    bmc-nix-cli remove-packages --name widget-hashwatcher
    /etc/init.d/bmc-compositor restart
  6. Type exit to leave the SSH session, then continue with Install the widget below.

Install the widget

  1. Download hashwatcher.nar
  2. Open http://braiins-deck.local/
  3. Go to Display Widgets → Install Widget
  4. Accept the third-party notice and choose the .nar file
  5. Add HashWatcher to a scene from the widget picker

Re-pair from HashWatcher

After installing, open HashWatcher → Braiins Remote, connect to the Deck again, and send your fleet. iOS 1.8.1+ required. Phone and Deck on the same Wi‑Fi; leave the Deck password blank unless you set one.
