Home routers use DHCP to hand out IP addresses automatically. This means your miner's IP (e.g., 192.168.1.105) can change anytime the device restarts, router reboots, or the lease expires. Result: HashWatcher may show the miner as "Offline" or "No Connection" even when it's running fine — the old IP no longer works. If this happens update the device IP inside of HashWatcher.
Best prevention: Set a DHCP reservation (or static IP) in your router for each miner's MAC address. This locks the IP forever — highly recommended for stable mining.
